I went and saw the Dujardin pieces while they were there as well--same impression--I would have liked more size and space. I was stuck, as you were, by the absence of inhabitants--there was something eerily inhuman--sanitized about the buildings--they felt frightening, almost vacuous. They seemed as if they had been cleaned in a CGI kind of way, you know? Not a future I'd be much interested in living in--but certainly a series of imaginations that I really enjoyed entering into and then departing. Nice post, as always.
